Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Ellis Taylor, an American stage and screen actor and producer. She is best known as a film actress for her roles as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She graduated with an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University and also a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School for the Arts New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer. She is involved in the world of film and television. She started her career acting in the theatre but then proceeded to appear in many television shows, as well as independent and mainstream films. The actress gained fame as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes for which she received not just high praise but also a number of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film.
